Construction Zone

I've tried to divide up the links between nurse/student/pre-reqs. Without actually going back through and reading all of them, I have forgotten who is in pre-reqs and who is a nursing student (note: you're not really a "nursing student" until you're going to nursing school, doing clinicals, and gaining the extra 15 lbs...).

Help me out if you see any that are in the wrong category. I'll come back and work on it some more tomorrow, unless we decide at the last minute to go camping again.

I'm working on getting them in order of most recently updated, also.

Oh, and I don't like the graphics much at all. I'll change them soon so they all sort of have one theme instead of looking like a garage sale. Ugh. The new banner will stay, but with more of a 70's look to the font.

I guess. :)

What a great job you've done! I'm a nurse who is now a volunteer director/hospital photographer :)

I'm currently a pre-req - but later this year I'll be a CNA and then you can reclassify me. :) RN school after that!!

Great list. I boookmarked your blog for my wife (who is an ICU nurse) so she can read all the nursing blogs.

Question: why 4 doctor blogs? There are so many out there, how did you pick these particular four? How about just linking to the homepage of Grand Rounds for those who are looking for Docs?

You got me right ;)
I know, I know. You were asking about the students. But I'm supposed to be studying for the bar, and it sucks. So I'm checking out your blog instead! How's NCLEX study going?

i think i used to be on the list, but i don't see the link... please feel free to add me if you want! (i just graduated from nursing school and i'm getting ready to take the NCLEX.) also, have you ever read this resident's journal: http://theunderweardrawer.blogspot.com? she's great. :) take care!

Minna - Thanks for letting me know. I'm still so happy that we can read your blog from Finland! Do you know of any other nursing students or nurses that blog? I'll make an international list if they're not in Enlish. It would be really cool.

Joan - I'm going to get you up there on the next update of blogs. I've got a lot of new entries coming up, so stay tuned.

G.I.G. - :) - You bet! I know you'll let us all know as soon as you get a nursing school slot. Having the CNA will help, I bet. I had mine after I started nursing school, but the experience itself was priceless.

Coturnix - Thanks for marking my blog. Does your wife have a blog? Maybe you can talk her into posting some of her stories. Why 4 doc blogs? Because they are some really neat people, and I couldn't NOT include them. I was posting comments on their blogs long before I got one of my own, and they were instrumental to teaching me what blogs were all about. If anyone wants to see other doc blogs, GruntDoc has a huge link to grand rounds on his site. Grand Rounds is less interesting now that there are more "healthcare" stories and less "patient care" stories. I think I could make a whole post about this.

Kelly - OMG, I am studying like a madwoman. A friend of mine from school and I decided to test on the same date (the 18th) and she's getting very nervous. She's been over to study Tues, Wed, and Thurs this week. I had to say "no" tonight. It's overwhelming. Bleh. Plus I've got work at 5am. Double Bleh.

Marj - Indeed, you were on the list. I'll get you back up on the double! :) I'm blaming blogrolling...

David - Well Howdy, stranger! I've been to your blog countless times and keep hoping that you'll update it and let us know how things are going and continue your stories. You're on the "Hello... Anyone Home?" list right now because your blog hasn't been updated in a while. Just a tiny little update and you'll be back up in "Nurses". :)

Where did you find that cool banner! I am trying to find something more medical/nursing for my blog now that I am closer to graduation.. Sorry I haven't "popped over" in a while. I'm actually supposed to be doing homework instead of blogging.
