Nominations for October
How do you think the October NurseBlog of the Month trophy should be awarded? I thought I'd make a poll and let you all vote on who you like, but I need some nominations. Make nominations of your favorite Nurseblogs and post them in the comments of this entry.1. Only blogs that actually display the NurseBlogs logo are in the running. I know that leaves out a TON of great blogs, but even some of my own personal favorites don't link back to me. If you don't have the logo yet, click on the "Get your NurseBlogs Logo Here" graphic on the sidebar.
2. You can nominate yourself, go ahead, it's a pretty trophy and I know you want it.
3. Both Nurses and Student Nurses can be nominated.
4. Must have had at least one post in the month of October.
5. I think a blog should only be able to win something like once every 6 months, or once a year - thoughts on this?
The winner will get a special post on Mediblogopathy, a graphic to proudly display on their blog proclaiming their new status, a special link to them at the top of the NurseBlogs list, the warm fuzzy feeling that comes by being selected as the best by a group of their peers, and (of course) increased traffic! I will as a bonus include a new bottle of Bath & Body Works Antibacterial Hand Gel if the winner will give me an address to send it to. Awesome!!! :)

I...um...wouldn't mind at least being considered. :)
I started Nursing school and my blog over a year ago and have blogged most frequently since. Gosh, It is a pretty trophy.

No problem - go ahead and nominate yourself!
I'm going to nominate the person who's blog influenced me not only to start my own, but to find others and link up - Geena of CodeBlog.

Thanks Hypnokitten. I'm glad I was the influence of such a wonderful blog!!
I would like to nominate Jo at Head Nurse. She doesn't have your *logo*, but she does link to your blog. I know she's a bit... uh... technologically... hm, what's the word here... :) Naive? I'm not sure she'd know how to put a button on. Let me know if that isn't acceptable :-)

I would love to have Jo as a nominee, especially after she has now fired her students (which I think was entirely appropriate and worthy of the award anyway..)- and hers is one of the blogs I read daily - but I need some way to give the logo value. Sort of a reason why someone would want to learn how to install it if they haven't already.
I guess it's mainly because Mediblogopathy as a name just doesn't let people know what's here. When it's nestled within a link list people have no idea that the NurseBlogs community exists, and that we're really starting to form a great network.

I would like to nominate genderist at http://haikuoftheid.blogspot.com for your nurse award in October. Her blog is just too fun to read. Her link is what brought me to this webpage.

I would love a consideration...been blogging for almost two months about ER nursing!

I second Geena at Codeblog! I also read Jodi and Kim, though, and both would make great candidates. Maybe some of the other folks will put up your button, because there are a number of blogs I would have nominated. Death Maiden immediately leaps to mind. Maybe "Becoming A Nurse" could be deemed worthy for my birthday in January if this is an ongoing monthly thang... I will endevour to get some more interesting video posts going on. :-)

I'm still trying to get on the blogroll. How do I do this? I've posted a few times and feel silly like I'm missing something. :)
I'd second Kim for a nomination at Emergiblog, and also for Third Degree Nurse, a student nurse, like me!
